Duplicate Productivity, Stop 25 Things to Do This!

Productivity is something that most of us are trying so hard to achieve it. There are two approaches that can be done, that is the approach to do something productive and approaches to NOT do something that is NOT productive.

At this discussion, we will focus on things that are not productive to stop you doing so you get more time in order to increase productivity at the same time.

We've compiled 25 things you should unproductive stop / not do to double your productivity:

1. Read all about productivity blog that you can find.

Your productivity will be affected if you spend too much time reading blogs about productivity. Ironic is not it? Do not get used to reading all the blogs that you can find. Instead prioritize some best blog where you can read on a regular basis and apply what you have learned afterwards.

2. Spending too much time on social media sites (Facebook and Twitter).

Social media sites can lead to addiction and take up most of your time. Limit your time, say 30 minutes or less to be spent on this site, and you will leave more time to perform tasks that are more important.

3. Browsing online without purpose.

Browsing only when you need it. Browsing on the web aimlessly to find things to please themselves can take up hours of your valuable time.

4. Say yes to every request.

Say yes to 2 hours long chat or for additional work when you can not handle your current workload can destroy your productivity. Learn to say no to requests that do not help you become more productive.

5. Checking email every 5 minutes.

If you are checking email too often, it means you're distracted and not focus on your job. Focus on your work can help speed up the process, which means using less time to finish the job.

6. To mess up your wardrobe.

If you spend 30 minutes every morning looking for clothes or deciding what to wear, then it's time to freshen up your wardrobe. Too many clothing options will cause confusion and get rid of the clothes you wear is rarely going to help you have a shorter time to decide what to wear. Try sorting your clothes, for example based on t-shirts, polo shirts, and shirts, so you do not have to waste time looking for it.

7. Looking for keys, cell phone and your wallet.

I first used to search for keys, cell phone and wallet every time I was about to go out of the house. It can be frustrating, especially when you will be late. The solution is to put these items in the same location every time you get in the house so that the next morning you know where these items are and you just took without wasting time looking for it.

8. Lost.

Have you ever spent hours searching for a location. The adage 'embarrassed to ask astray on the road' is not to be contemplated only, but to be applied. It would be better if you plan in advance the route that will be taken, especially when you will go to an unfamiliar place. If not, maybe 2 hours of your time will be wasted with swirling find that location.

9. Manually save money.

If you withdraw money from one account to another account stored in, you do something that can be automated, which means you will save time and effort. With the automation process of saving, you also ensure that you do not use money that you will tube.

10. Make payments manually.

Same with the 10 points above, payment will automatically help you save time and effort, especially if you have to make payments in line first.

11. Multi tasking (Doing two or more activities at the same time).

Multi-tasking makes you switch focus between tasks and each time you switch tasks, you need to refocus from scratch. This means you have to waste the time to refocus. Finish one task before switching to the next task.

12. Not make your computer desktop tidy.

A cluttered desktop will be difficult for you to find an icon that you need and it will also slow down the loading time of your computer. Delete the icons that you seldom use from the desktop.

13. Not getting enough sleep.

Difficult to be productive when you feel tired. Make sure you get enough sleep so you can do your best today.

14. Meetings (meeting) without an agenda and a set time.

If you are going to hold a meeting, make sure to write down the agenda. This will make sure everyone stays focused on the agenda of the talks is not without direction. Also specify the length of the meeting to be held to prevent any "extra discussion" on the agenda.

15. Doing work that is not important.

There are those who behave like a busy person but actually counterproductive. They are just trying to keep them busy themselves by doing the jobs regardless of whether the work was important or not. If you are doing work that is not important, then you are definitely impaired productivity. Prioritize your work in the following categories:

Priority 1: Work is important and immediate
Priority 2: Work is important but not immediately
Priority 3: Work is important but not immediately
Priority 4: Work is not important and does not immediately

16. Worry.

If you are worried about something, it will be difficult to stay focused. If your concern is the task you need to do it later, remove it from your mind by writing it on a piece of paper where you will deal with it later.

17. Making your workplace untidy.

Can be frustrating when you waste time searching for office equipment or documents. Make your workplace tidy, put everything in place so you can pick it up immediately whenever you want. Rapihkan regularly so messy is not repeated.

18. Chatting with colleagues.

Chat with your coworker about gossip really does help you increase productivity. Work when you need to work and chat after work is completed.

19. Watching TV.

TV shows can make you addicted and sometimes you spend the most time watching it. Reduce the time you are watching TV and you'll find that you will have more time to do things that can make a difference to your life.

20. Hang out.

Everyone needs time to relax hang out every day but it's also not unreasonable. Do it in the normal range.

21. Having many credit cards.

Too many credit cards means that you will have more bills to be taken care of. Cancel some credit cards that you do not need or rarely use so you will only have a few bills to deal with.

22. Too many tabs open in your browser.

This is annoying if you have multiple tabs on your browser because you hope will start jumping from one thing to another thing. As I have mentioned before, jumping from one task to another is not a good productive habits.

23. Oversleeping.

Excessive sleep means less time available to perform these tasks. If the 6-7 hours of sleep is enough for you, do not try to be 8-10 hours.

24. Working overtime.

Working overtime does not mean you are much more productive. If you can stop doing the things that have been described above, you should be able to work with a shorter time and better results.

25. Failed to conduct regular working hours.

Our productivity tends to decrease over time and you need to record your working time in order to check productivity. Whenever you feel that your productivity has dropped drastically, take your time to analyze how you spend your time during business hours and see if there is anything that you are doing is not productive to then you lose.
